Our wines selection for the happy festive season !

With foie gras…
Contrary to popular thinking, avoid sweet wines, especially if you offer it as an entrée. You might rather chose our wine Origine, a 100% chardonnay the silver medal at the Concours des Grands Vins Blancs du monde de Strasbourg 2017.

Avec fish in sauce or lobster…
For the first pairing, lets meet an atypical wine, with a nice fat and very aromatic: the 1612 Grand Viognier, rewarded by a star by the Guide Hachette des Vins 2018.

For the second one, you might go for Les Iles Blanches, Gold Medal at the Concours des Grands Vins Blancs du monde de Strasbourg 2017. This dry white wine, with a nice golden mouth and a fruity nose, blend roundness, freshness, finesse and elegance.

With venison or stew…
Its candied red fruits aromas and its silky tanins make it an ideal partner. The new Cuvée Sept Etoiles, aged in oak barrels, will complement nicely a doe or a deer with a spirited taste.

An other paring that will truly tempt your taste buds, the Domaine des Colombettes, a Lirac with deep ripe fruits spices and leather aromas. Robust, generous and balanced, this wine will easily compete with the strong taste of a venison.

At the end of the meal, with the cheese, choose a Côtes-du-Rhône, like the Mas Saint-Hugues. To complement your dessert you might prefer to visit us directly and we will give you some advices on our Champagne list!
